Check out my unboxing and reviews of Craftsman Tools. My ensemble ranges from vaccum cleaners to battery powered yard tools. I began to implement more battery powered tools back in 2023. I was looking for tools that were lightweight but powerful enough to replace my existing gasoline tools. First, we bought a small blower for my wife, Ginger. The next thing you know, I bought a bigger battery powered blower for me. Since I have been using Craftsman tools since the 1960’s, I decided to standardize on their V20 20-volt lithium battery tools. Truth be told, I do have tools from other manufacturers including DeWalt, Westinghouse, Murray, Metabo and a bunch more.

My recommendation is to find a manufacturer that you trust, one that has a full poduct line, one that is readily available in your area and standardize on them. For instance, if you have a DeWalt 20-volt drill but want to standrdize on Craftsman 20-volt tools, you can buy adapter that lets you use their batteries in the other’s tools. You just have to stick with the same voltage. What I found is that you can not use other manufacturer’s battery chargers. So don’t be tempted.
