My “New To Me” Lumix 12-60mm MFT Lens

I just received a new lens for my Lumix G85 camera and want to share my new toy with you. The lens is a micro four thirds mount 12-60mm zoom lens with apeture F/3.5-5.6. Lumix part number H-FS12060.

The main reason I purchased it was because it is weatherproof, meaning it has a spash and dust proof sealed body. That way, when I am out and about, mainly at the beach. I don’t have to be as concerned with sand or ocean spray, other than to be sure to thoroughtly wipe down and clean the lens and camera when I’m through. It also has amazing image stability with integrated Lumix Power Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) and LUMIX Dual I.S. camera compatibility. Combine that with the inbody stabilization of my Lumix G85 and I should be able to have hand held shots more precise and walking/talking vlog videos smoother without the bouncy bouncy image.

I purchased the lens from MPB and it was rated as “Like New.” You wouldn’t know from looking at it or using it that it was not new. This my second purchase from MPB and it came quickly and was as described. My first purchase was A G85 camera and two kit lenses. Everything was as described and has worked flawlessly.
